Charlotte Chalk Art Festival
Creative Canvas Productions presents a FREE, two-day street art festival. The event will feature local and regional chalk art artists, live outdoor music, food and beverage vendors, art-focused products, and more.
Bridget B Sullivan, event producer and co-founder of Creative Canvas Productions, said “We’ve had this event on our drawing board for three years. Given the uptick in chalk art sightings and a greater comfort level to attend in-person events outside, we felt the time was right to breathe life into the Charlotte Chalk Art Festival.”
Thanks to the generous VIK Sponsorship support of the Charlotte Art League and Flywheel Group, the inaugural festival will be held in late 2022 on the grounds of their new home. The goal will be to bring Charlotte and the surrounding communities together for a live chalk art competition among local and regional artists in the 12 to 17 and 18+ age brackets.
